
What’s new in ArcGIS Business Analyst Online?
Several new features have been added. You can find more information on the new features on the ArcGIS Business Analyst Resource Center,
but here are some highlights:
• Comparison Reporting—including benchmark and custom comparison reports—is now available under the Get Reports tab.
• Site naming has been streamlined and made more flexible.
• An improved My Sites drop-down makes it easier to see the active sites on the map.
• The appearance of printed site maps has been enhanced.
• Normalized (percentage) variables are now available in the Color-Coded Maps tab.
• You can import locations and display them over Color-Coded Maps for a better understanding of how demographics relate to business and other locations.
• A full-screen button on the Map Tool Palette allows you to see more of the map and available reports.
• The all-in-one PDF is now available within Business Analyst Online. You can find a link to the all-in-one report in Previous Reports and on the Reports Ready notification dialog when your order is ready.
• The order in which reports are listed in the all-in-one PDF can now be controlled. Reports will be listed in the all-in-one PDF in the order in which you add them to Selected Report on the Get Reports tab.
• You can delete past orders from Previous Reports.
• The maximum report order size has been increased to twenty reports.
• The Traffic Count Map appearance has been enhanced and the Dominant Tapestry Map is now available.

• The Satellite map can be queried to determine the exact date an image was taken. Though the Satellite map imagery is updated quarterly to provide the most recent imagery available, the individual images that comprise the Satellite map are often captured at different dates.
How can I rename and edit my previously created sites?
You can rename, edit and otherwise manage your sites by selecting Organize Sites from the Select Location menu. Organize Sites is located on the far right side of the menu.
How can I create reports for the entire United States?
You can select the entire United States as a geography under Select Geographies on the Select Location tab.
How do I print on-screen maps in a landscape format?
Select the print tool from the Map Tool Palette. Click Print on the Print Map preview. When your system’s print dialog opens, change the print preferences to Landscape.
How can I display geographic borders and labels on top of Color-Coded Maps?
The ability to add additional geographic borders and labels on top of existing maps is currently not available. This functionality is planned for a future release.

Why do the rings on the map appear oblong or elliptical in the application?
Business Analyst Online uses static map images or tiles that are created in a geographic projection which causes rings to appear oblong. The rings accurately represent the query area even though they appear elliptical.
How can I import my old projects from previous versions of Business Analyst Online into the new version of the product?
